Find Your Flow And Turn Small Habits Into Big Wins
Week 2 of my 90-day challenge taught me the power of routine and momentum.

Hello there!
Week 2 of my 90-day challenge is officially in the books, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s the importance of quickly establishing a routine. When you start something new, especially a project that could change your life, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The secret to getting through that? Find your rhythm early.
This week, I discovered that small adjustments can make a huge difference. I shifted my daily walks from evening to morning, and that single decision completely transformed my days. Those walks went from being a chore at the end of the day to something I genuinely look forward to in the mornings. That one change unlocked a new flow that helped me stay on track, not just with my fitness goals, but with my writing too.
Tweak The Routine To Make Life Easier
If you didn’t already know, with this challenge, I’m juggling a remote day job, a business, a health goal, a personal writing goal, and my responsibilities to myself, my family, and my clients. That’s a lot of stuff to cramp into 24 hours.
So, at the beginning of the week, I started writing first thing in the morning, before I went for my walk. But instead of publishing immediately, I let my articles sit while I cleared my mind during my walks. When I returned, I was able to review and proofread each article with fresh eyes before hitting "publish". As we approached the end of this week, this new process has become almost like muscle memory—writing, walking, reviewing, publishing—it just flows.
Now, what felt challenging in Week 1 has already started feeling automatic in Week 2. And that’s the power of routine my friend; once you establish one, you stop thinking about how to do something, and you just do it. The resistance fades, and the momentum takes over. You Can Also Do It
If you’re working on a project or starting a journey of your own, my biggest advice is to focus on creating a routine as early as possible. Don’t wait for the “perfect” time or the “right” strategy. Start experimenting now with small tweaks to your day. Whether it’s setting aside time to work on your passion project or finding a time that works for your workouts, the sooner you establish a routine, the easier everything becomes.
